Wild Child
Wild Child lives in the space between who we were and who we’re becoming.
Set against the backdrop of a wilderness therapy program, it explores what happens when young people are stripped of distraction and left to face what they’ve been avoiding.
At its core, it is a story about connection — the kind that forms under pressure, in unexpected places, between people who don’t yet know how to trust.
It is also about survival — not just of circumstance, but of self.
Some things you can walk away from.
Others stay with you.

Development
Wild Child has evolved through a series of workshops and collaborations across the U.S. and Canada.
A key phase of development took place in February 2025 at Theatre Sheridan (Sheridan College), a leading incubator for new musical theatre works.
