    John Simpkins

    DIRECTOR

    John Simpkins is Professor & Nagle Chair of Musical Theatre at Penn State University. He directed The Jonathan Larson Project (Drama Desk nomination) Off-Broadway in 2025 at the Orpheum Theatre, and the three-time Drama Desk nominated Off-Broadway production of Bloodsong of Love at Ars Nova.
